Elon Musk is a South African-American entrepreneur and businessman known for his charisma and ability to innovate in different fields. He was born on June 28, 1971 in Pretoria, South Africa. From an early age, he showed a special talent for computers and entrepreneurship. At the age of 12, he created a video game and sold it to a computer magazine.

In 1995, he founded Zip2, a company that provided maps and business directories to online newspapers. The company secured contracts with The New York Times and the Chicago Tribune. In 1999, Zip2 was acquired by computer manufacturer Compaq for $307 million. With the money obtained from the sale, Musk founded an online financial services company, X.com, which later became PayPal, specializing in online money transfers. PayPal was acquired by eBay in October 2002 for $1.5 billion in stock.

In 2002, he founded SpaceX with the goal of developing and manufacturing affordable space launch vehicles. The idea arose when Musk tried to buy a rocket but was told it would cost him $8 million. Considering this too expensive, he decided to start his own company to reduce the costs of space launches.

Musk was also one of the early major investors and CEO of electric car manufacturer Tesla. Under his leadership, Tesla has revolutionized the automotive industry with its innovative electric vehicles and has contributed to the transition towards cleaner energy.

In October 2022, he completed a deal to buy Twitter, becoming the owner of the social media company. With this acquisition, Musk once again demonstrated his ability to innovate and expand into different fields.

Throughout his career, Musk has demonstrated a unique ability to identify opportunities and carry out ambitious projects in different fields.
